Along with this experience, we have a food scientist who oversees formulation, sourcing, quality assurance, and control. We take measures to the finest detail to ensure our products are superior and above standards.

We feel we have the best product on the market, but we need to acknowledge the people we work with daily, for without them the link is broken.

This includes our distributors, their representatives, and the retailers. They are our eyes and ears in the field, helping us to educate owners, address questions, work towards solutions, strive to keep the customers happy, and, our ultimate goal, keep pets healthy!

Keith A. Hill, President and Chief Executive Officer
During Keith’s professional career he he founded the consulting firm Consulting Gateway Corporation and managed a municipal corporation with multiple utilities and budgets exceeding $20 million a year. Keith graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineering, is a licensed professional engineer, and has over 26 years experience including management consulting, advising on organization structuring, operations and process consulting, capital investments and operating budgets, value engineering and assessments, human resources, and risk management. For Lystn, Keith handles all legal matters, strategic planning, and facilities management. He reports to the Board of Directors.
Jacqueline C. Hill, Vice President of Operations and Product Development
Jacqueline attended Iowa State University and majored in Microbiology. During her 15 years as a practicing veterinary technician, she studied many of the holistic/alternative modalities with an emphasis in nutrition. For 12 years, Jacqueline owned and managed Valley Hill Stables, a horse boarding facility. Jacqueline coordinated a natural food co-op in Pennsylvania for 5 years. She is a member of The Weston A. Price Organization, The Organic Consumer Association, and The Farm to Consumer Legal Defense Fund. Hired in 2004 by one of the largest raw pet food manufacturers in the nation, Jacqueline served as the Northeast Territory Manager until her promotion to Eastern Regional Manager in 2005. In 2007, she was also appointed as leader of the company’s Veterinary Task Force. She has been a raw pet food feeder for 20+ years.
Etty A. Gorman, Vice President of Market Development and Sales
As a member of a family that bred raw-fed Champion Great Danes, Etty grew up feeding raw food to pets. Once married, she and her husband started breeding, showing and sledding Alaskan Malamutes. Etty became involved with AKC clubs, eventually becoming president. In 1984, Etty opened a Pet Care Center in Connecticut where, with a business partner, she tended to pet needs including nutrition. At the time, it was the only retail store in the area featuring raw diet for dogs. Another location opened in 1992, and both were sold in 1996. In 2003, she became a sales representative and general manager for a pet food distributor in New York. In 2005, Etty became an east coast territory sales manager for one of the nation’s largest raw pet food manufacturers.
Roxanne Stone, Vice President of Research and Development and Procurement
Roxanne earned her master’s degree in Food Science with a minor in Chemistry from Utah State University. She has over 12 years experience in the food industry in research, product development, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Holding project management positions at McCain Foods, Heinz, and Jack in the Box, she has skillfully managed all phases of product development from idea generation, bench-top testing, and consumer research through manufacture scale-up and market introduction for many successful food service and retail products. In 2007, looking to contribute to more environmentally responsible manufacturing techniques and organic products, Roxanne started her own food consulting company.
Derrick J. Hill, Chief Financial Officer
Derrick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with a minor in Economics from the College of Business Administration of the West Virginia University. As founder of Lystn, LLC, Derrick led the development and expansion of the company from the start. The company has grown from an idea to reality based on Derrick’s vision and commitment. From the start, Derrick established the following guiding principles: be a good environmental steward, have the willingness to fight for what is right, and resist caving to convenience. Derrick is responsible for all accounting functions, AP/AR, investments, and vendor and equipment management.
